Description
State Street is a financial service based company located in Boston where application maintenance and support is provided for all the applications in different regions.
It provides custodial services to various funds (Pension funds, Public Funds, Mutual Funds) that invest in markets across the globe. If a Fund has invested in a non-US market, a sub-custodian will be appointed to provide custodial services to the fund in that market; these sub-custodians raise invoices on State Street for the services provided by them. These charges are to be forwarded to the respective Funds by State Street. A custom web-based application called Sub custodian and Depository Billing has been written to:
* Calculate expenses related to Holding and transactions at a Fund level as well as the division level
* Calculate Out of Pocket expenses incurred by State Street and the recovery thereof.
* Comparatively analyze the expenses with the invoices raised by Sub Custodians
* Budget and Forecast expenses and transaction volumes based upon history
* Generate various MIS reports to the Management

Responsibility
• Development code releases and Disaster recovery plans.
• Lead, manage and implement all minor enhancement efforts.
• Complete all code changes related to bug fixes.
• Handle incidents related to application setups, configurations, batch job failures, business data updates and complex how-to and navigational calls.
• Work with App L4 team to identify Perfective Maintenance Opportunities.

GRP is basically a calculative engine. It gets data from flat files and database through DB links. It calculates and generates report by utilizing revenue and volume from upstream application. The generated report is sent to CDMS and Global Centre.

Code Deployment Co-ordinator role:
Co-ordinated lower environments code deployments having following process.
• Create change management requests.
• Prepare implementation document and share it to all the teams involved.
• Invite all other teams to initiate the deployment process at the time scheduled.
• Once deployment done, verify all the EARs are deployed correctly on the specified destination path in the servers and ensure all the JVMs are came up and running.
