Having worked as a receptionist for both a hotel and a hair salon, I understand the need for accuracy and good time management. Professionalism whilst dealing with customers is vital as you are their first point of contact.

This is the second time I have worked for next, the first being solely in the stockroom handling deliveries. This time I was based on the shopfloor helping with merchandising as well as general sales. Again I relished the face to face contact with the public hopefully making their shopping experience much easier and more enjoyable.

This was another front of house role that I enjoyed. Keeping the salons regulars happy with the service they received, assisting the stylists with equipment, hair washing and keeping the salon topped up with towels, shampoos etc. Booking appointments, sometimes up to 6 months in advance and time management of the stylists being a very key point.
