I have worked in the hospitality industry most of my life. I am a trained silver service waitress, was trained as a cook by the British Army, where I worked for 3 yrs. I worked in the hospital, the main cook house, Sgt.s mess and the officers mess as well as the helicopter officers cafe. I managed the bars in a new hotel of a chain in England. I came to Canada as a live-in nanny, but I also worked for a catering company in Vancouver. I now work for a local catering company, but I have also cooked at a seniors home and at the soup kitchen.
I have food safe, serving it right, computer skills,my first aid needs renewing. I have business studies from England, restaurant management from Thompson college, I have managed many peoples homes, including bed and breakfast. I have also done the H&R Block income tax course.
My children are grown up and now I need a job to settle down into, I am good with people but do not let them get away with things, I have raised plenty of children and looked after lots of animals so very little takes me by surprise anymore.
