Description: NAB is a leading Australian bank. The Customer Account Management System (CAMS) is a mainframe ledger system created in the early 1990s. It replaced several separate ledger systems, and is now used to manage around 4.5 million accounts. These are mainly personal accounts, but also include some business accounts. This system manages transaction accounts, term deposits, principal offsets, loans and some office accounts.
The system is composed of both batch and online components. This processes all accounts, producing reports and output files that are sent to other systems. CAMS is a reliable and stable system based on well-proven mainframe technology (IMS DB/DC, DB2 and COBOL/MVS).
