Management Representative responsible for mantaning ISO 9001 certification and Integration and implementation of ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001, I also initiated and project managed the conversion of the Silchem line to increase filling time from 1x 210 litre drum in 30 minutes to filling 1 x 210 litre drum in 3 minutes, I Re-engineered filling lines to reduce manual handling of 25 kg polycans , and contact with dangerous chemicals, I also initiated waste recycling, Other maintenance projects included: renewing hard surfaces, upgrading bathrooms, upgrading effluent system, upgrading lighting and distribution boards, upgrading laboratory, Other duties included: compiling all monthly and mandatory reports; Chairperson of safety committee, Managing production, maintenance, laboratory and all safety, health, environment, risk and quality projects.

Management Representative responsible for Maintaining 9001 certification; My dilligent testing of the product led engineering to discover that smirnoff 200ml filler had developed large holes , thereby resulting in loss alcohol strength. My BTech project also led me to conclude that the Buchi alcohol testing machine was most suitable for alcohol testing and this resulted in quicker analysis. Other task include: Compiling and Revising Procedures, Work Instructions and Record Sheets; Conducting Internal Audits; Design of Packaging Artwork; Chairperson of HACCP team; 5S Champion and member of World Class Manufacturing Task Force, Quality Team Leader.

I was involved in development of Magnum mint, Ola Cup, feast toffee, and Cornetto Passion fruit. I also was responsible for the online implementation of HACCP CCPs. Proper on line testing led me to discover that initial final product specifications of certain products, that were run on Gram line, were incorrectly set during product development and were never achieved after product launch a few years prior.

Routine quality control and laboratory analysis. I implemented a comprehensive housekeeping checklist. Through dilligent microbial analysis I discovered that treated water from water treament plant was contaminating the filler because the cleaning regime of water treatment plant was insufficient.
