• Responsible for handling disputes with major retailers (min $1 Million/year) and mediating or offering solutions that benefit the retailer while protecting Loblaw's interests.
• Responsible to ensure that on average 8500 cheques are deposited on a monthly basis and 4100 monthly pre-authorized debits are submitted to the banks on a monthly basis.
• Review/Analyze weekly delinquency/trending reports and provide direction/strategy to minimize our risk.
• Final review and sign off from a credit perspective on all Capital Investment applications, monetary value would range from $50,000.00 - $1,000,000.00.
• Transitioned the Transport receivables from the regions to Winnipeg, and improved the outstanding receivables by 20%-30%.
• Provided guidance and support to our customer service team which supported all retailer inquiries. Inquiries would include but not limited to missing statements, incorrect billings, double billings etc.
• Brought the outstanding customer service from 1300 outstanding tickets (January 2009) to under 100 tickets which is maintained on a weekly basis with reduced head count.
• Centralized and made improvements to our Direct Store Delivery program.
• Centralized out Personal Property Security Registrations (PPSR) process.
• Created score cards to assist in the prioritization on collections.
• Sit in on monthly/quarterly Allowance for Doubtful Accounts (AFDA) meetings and provide insight to the business on likelihood of any recovery. I also provide cost/benefit analysis on possible litigation and realization of security.
• Approve all Bad Debt write off's up to $75,000.00.
• Very strong working relationships with Equifax, Trans Union and The Food Industry Credit Bureau.

• Was the lead in centralizing all Credit functions from the regional offices throughout Canada to a Shared Services model in Winnipeg.
• Types of Credit would include, small retailers (mom & pop grocery stores), restaurants, and convenience stores, mid-sized grocery stores, up to and including our franchise locations.
• Improved the application turnaround times on adjudications from approximately one week to 24 - 48 hours.
• Responsible for all hiring and training of the Credit team as it was new to Winnipeg. By centralizing and implementing proper technology, significant savings in head count was achieved.
• Standardization of the Credit application so one document was being used nationally with modifications to the Quebec region due to the laws they operate under.

• Responsible for the collections of accounts, and realization of security pledged.
• Responsible for adjudicating Mortgage's including determining fair market values on property (pre official appraisals). Searching for liens against the property, completing all documentation that would be forwarded on to First Canadian Title to draw up the contracts. Closing the Mortgage with the client.
