Responsibilities: Full charge Human Resources functions for seven states and then the corporate office. Extensive travel to twenty six divisions for HR audits, investigating and settling complaints, extensive recruiting for all levels of positions, hiring and terminations, making sure all divisions were compliant in the HR areas. Three Regional Directors and five Human Resource Managers reported to me. I was responsible for Affirmative Action Plans at all divisions, OFCCP and Veterans Reporting and procedures. When necessary, I assisted legal counsel in investigations, interviews and collection of documentation. I made sure the employees were properly trained in respective areas, and assisted in opening and closing of divisions. I had the monumental task of leading the Y2K conversion for payroll, benefits and time clocks. Set up and help train HR conferences at the corporate office.
Accomplishments: Was promoted from Human Resources Manager, to Regional Director of Human Resources to Corporate Director of Human Resources within five years. I was very successful in defending the company against OFCCP complaints, INS investigation, sexual harassment suit, gender discrimination suit, and union avoidance at two divisions.
