Duties:
Clinical Case Management: Manage the patient's plan of care from admission through discharge, utilizing the AAPIE process. Oversee the care that is provided by all staff, ensuring that it promotes the patients highest level of success. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet the patient's needs and goals.

Management: Manage, direct, monitor, and support nursing services and programs in Skilled Nursing in accordance with Federal regulations. Manage, supervise and mentor the staff, including hiring evaluating, coaching or terminating as required to establish and maintain standards.
Educator: Provide or facilitate the required education of all staff involved in the Health Pavilion. Supervise and or create patient education tools. Oversee staff development.
Risk Manager: Educate the staff in risk management utilizing a proactive, reactive and continuous quality format. Investigate all risks, report and implement actions as necessary.
Supervise: Personnel in daily operations, including disciplinary action, required to establish and maintain standards.
Develop: Nursing goals, objectives, policies and procedures, and standards of practice that support our mission, and goals.
Federal regulations: Know, teach, and monitor compliance to the Federal regulations.

Budget: In collaboration with the Administrator develop and maintain the annual budget.

Committees: Serve on patient and management centered committees.

Quality Assurance: Develop, and maintain an ongoing Nursing Quality Assurance program. Develop and implement a quality indicator matrix, pharmacy quality assurance tool, and other quality tracking tools.
Communication: Facilitate and oversee the communication and care provided between the medical staff, Medical Director and the community services.
Employee Health: Oversee the Employee Health Program.
