Work History

Club photographer

From July 2013

This was a One-time position completed around July 2013. At the ‘Plant room’ and ‘Dielectrics’, I had to interact with customers and take there portraits while portraying the club as a lively and popular venue. I also took the images home and processed them myself using photoshop.

Band photographer

My Legacy

Also a One-time Position, I took this work unpaid because I believe the experience would be valuble enough to my development as a photographer. They band 'My Legacy' were hosting a gig at The Shed in Leicester, I processed all the shots I took myself, and then gave them over to the band to use as they saw fit.

The university of Leicester

May 2010 - May 2010

This was a compulsory work experience achieved when I was at school with the Archaeology department: I'm including it here because it was not something I was forced into but was a position I picked out myself because the subject interested me. Apart from the excavation side of things where I was given the responsibility of processing and sorting the finds; there were also several artistic elements that really appealed to my strengths. For example working in the drawing office to record the relevant finds using the required observational drawing techniques as would the pictures that have been included in the Archaeological books sold/ suggested for students.

This lasted for two weeks.

Unfortunately head

Summit Roofguard

I was canvasser in the telesales room. From early September to the 7th of December this year of 2013, based on Aylestone road. Unfortunately head office decided to shut down the Leicester based branch, for reasons they didn't share with us.

The Open 21 youth exhibition

This Included being on the panel that selected the successful entries and set up the exhibition itself.

Bronze level Arts award

This was completed during the time when I helped to plan and execute several events held at New Walk Museum. Not only did this enable me to achieve the Arts award, the organizers also took us to several museum stores and galleries, letting us experiance things members of the public do not usualy have the oppertunity to.
