Hanuschuk - Coordinator - Winnipeg, MB, Canada

Kalyn Hanuschuk

Winnipeg, MB, Canada

I am looking to apply my skills and expertise to a career that is focused on helping others and to work alongside like minded individuals who present challenges and the opportunity to grow within this profession.

I am currently a coordinator of Individualized Support Services where I supervise a team of 16 people, 8 of which live with a developmental disability. I over see all aspects of their schedule and help develop meaningful, paid employment positions by scouting out companies on their behalf and aiding in the development of work related skills. This position requires networking and developing job contacts and maintaining positive relationships with businesses within the community as well as stakeholders.

I also have five years of management experience working in a high volume and fast paced environment in the inner city area of Winnipeg as well as recently completed a course regarding the role of a supervisor. I oversaw all aspects of the store including training, paperwork, scheduling, merchandising and shipping and receiving.. I successfully serviced and trained a wide range of culturally diverse people with patience and an open mind.

I practice a healthy lifestyle and am fascinated with natural nutrition, healing foods, herbology and alternative medicine. I am highly creative and enjoy the creative arts, especially music. I seek a career that matches my values, offers continued learning and the opportunity to meet new people.
