I am an experienced qualified art history teacher. I hold a first degree in Archaeology and History of Art, also a M. Phil. and a Ph. D. in the field of History of Art. I specialize in modern and contemporary art, mainly American. I am the joint recipient of the CHART AWARD for the best postgraduate essay in art and technology by Birkbeck College in 1996. I have also worked as a curator and over-all coordinator of events- from concept to funding and from writing exhibition catalogues to Media promotion- at the Museum of Modern Greek Art of the Municipality of Rhodes, second only to the National Gallery of Greece. In addition, I have an extensive 19- year experience in teaching Modern Greek Language, History and Literature to both young people and adults in public and private schools and in seminars. I am a keen proof reader of Greek and I was also the editor/ co-editor of two art magazines, one was digital (artzine) and the other one was printed (The Look). I have participated in many national and international conferences on art, language and education and I am the author/co-author of books, catalogues and articles. I have very good communication and managerial skills and I enjoy both taking initiatives and also working in teams.
