The role also involves guiding new students within the campus.

In this role I was tasked with answering phone calls and taking notes of customers' requests, welcoming visitors and negotiating deals with landlords. In addition to this I also coordinated helping local people to find suitable accommodation around Lewisham and Hither Green. My day-to-day duties included entering data into the database, checking out email, filing and typing up letters to tenants, landlords or other businesses. This job helped me develop more skills and experience within the housing industry where I proved a practical outlet for my academic learning. My interpersonal skills were put to the test in negotiations and the absolute necessity of maximising commission rates was evident.
Customer Service Assistant

My main duties were handling cash over the till and processing refunds or exchange for customers. I was also required to provide customers with accurate information about products and services and promoting latest offers. Through this position I have improved my communication and listening skills whereas I have gained experience in customer services diplomacy and team work.
NHS Saint Hillier
January 2009 - January 2010
I worked within the hospitality department as a Ward Hostess. My duties were taking patients' lunch and dinner orders, making sure every patient gets the food they wanted on time. I was also in charge of serving patients tea, coffee, juice, water and snacks. It was also my duty to keep the ward kitchen clean and tidy and report any broken electronic to my supervisor. This role has allowed me to develop excellent organisational, time management and communication skills.
Excellent team player: from my experience within the work place and throughout my studies I have been able to co-operate with others on a share task, I am also aware and adaptable to the working style of others.
Strong Communication and listening skills: I can provide clear and accurate information using appropriate language and style. I listen to others views and opinions where I can clearly outline my understanding and follow instructions.
Organisational and time management skills: as a self-motivated and enthusiastic person I can assess the relative importance urgency of tasks and plan accordingly. With this skill I can also plan, organise and manage resources towards successful goals and objectives.
Bilingual: I can fluently write, read and communicate in both French and English. As my first language I learned French from my early years in primary school till secondary level when I relocated to the UK.
IT skills Advanced in Word, Excel and Power point: As part of my everyday use I practices IT through writing essays, reports, and presentations. Throughout my work experience I also learned how to enter information in a database system.
