My relationship with library information and records management began as far back as my second year of study in the year 2006, when I worked at the UNZA main library. I gained, among other attributes, a deep understanding of records management system, good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as time management and accuracy. In addition to this, I gained knowledge and practical experience regarding registry functions, when I worked at the National Archives of Zambia. My most rescent role at Kwacha Pension Trust Fund involved management of all records under the Investments wing.
Public relations was a key part of my daily job for two consecutive years as I delt directly with all residential and commercial tenants renting from the Fund properties, as well as employees from the Banking division at the Bank of Zambia on a daily basis. Prior to this, I served as Administrator at Munich Advisors Group, a reputable consultancy firm with roots from Germany and South Africa, responsible for all administrative duties and Customer Care. My background as an Information/records person, dealing with University Students and other library users built my ability to handle clientele from various backgrounds and manage their moods or missunderstandings proffessionally.
In addition to this, I have a positive work attitude, with the drive to succeed through meeting deadlines and seeing all my work to its logical conclusion, even if it means working late hours.
