Prize-winning short story writer: Awards include: Currently shortlisted for The Brit Writers' Award, 2nd in Sentinel Short Story Competition 2011, shortlisted for The Asham Award twice (2005 and 2009) and Mslexia (2009). Also published in the Penguin Anthology The Map of Me as winner of The Decibel Prize (2008). Other wins include runner-up in The Guardian/Virgin Trains Flash Competition (2007) and winner of Woman and Home’s Short Story Competition with Ghosts of Jamaica (2006). Assistant Editor of a conservation magazine, Wolfprint and Reviewer for The Short Review.
