Judith has a long history of dedicated experience working with a vast range of populations (including mentally ill, substance abusers, dual diagnosis, children and adolescents, geriatrics, physically disabled, brain injured, people with dementia, homeless and marginalized individuals) with group and individual interventions utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches, including creative arts therapies with a specialty in Dance Therapy, arts and crafts, relaxation/mediation, yoga, singing, storytelling, sports and exercise, creative writing, drama workshop, cooking, bedside therapeutic touch, celebratory and cultural events, "talent shows," and a variety of approaches to strengthening community. Judith is known for her ability to work with hard to reach patients, and is passionate about providing service to those most in need.

Responsible for all programming and MDS documentation on two units in the long term care nursing facility as well as central dance/movement therapy, art studio, and cooking program. Unit programs included: dance therapy, meditation/ relaxation, arts and crafts, active games, drumming and rhythm, remembering and story telling, singing, community meeting, birthday parties, seasonal and cultural celebrations, In Memory of peers who pass, as well as individual and bedside interventions including therapeutic touch, socialization, art, movement, singing. In addition, worked with the other staff in the Department of Therapeutic Recreation facilitating frequent central events. In the last two to three years, provided programming on 10 or more nursing units, primarily dance/movement therapy groups and one to one bedside sessions, including large dance therapy groups of 20 to 30 residents on four dementia units.
