Five years helicopter line maintenance experience on EC120B, AS350B2/B3 models. Proficient in troubleshooting all aircraft systems: engine, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems (FCC GROL/Radar endorsement). Experience in main rotor track & balance, tail rotor and short shaft balance. 20+ years fixed wing: piston (opposed and round), turbine and jet aircraft (cargo) and structural repair experience. Bilingual: experience in providing aircraft maintenance support in Mexico and South America.

Nov. 2007 to Feb. 2010: First A&P hired to man the CBP Aviation Program at the Laredo International Airport. Received company computers, scanners, copiers, etc. and worked with CBP IT to hook up to the CBP Aviation support network. Became hiring manager for the Laredo CBP program: staffed the site with a supply tech, ground support tech, and five mechanics. As the unit lead, I trained and supervised all personnel, performed QC and set their working schedules. Provided 7- day maintenance support for CBP Air Ops. Principal electrical and avionics trouble-shooter. Proficient in main rotor track & balance and tail rotor balance on Eurocopter models.
