Having hit the ground running after completing tertiary study in 2005 (Monash University, BA Design Vis. Com.), I have worked for clients as varied as Sensis, Converse and Heywire(ABC), as well as helping out council youth groups, music festivals, bands and small fashion labels. Outputs for these clients were as varied as catalogue creation and sticker/promotional outputs to garment construction cads to website design and management to 200 hand-cut money boxes from scrap materials. I am proficient in all Adobe CS programs, have dabbled extensively in HTML and love the challenge of a deadline.

Graphic Designer / Apparel Designer
Conquest Sports p/l
August 2008 - January 2011
In late 2008, while still holding the role with SYN, I was employed as one of a team of five to work for Conquest Sports, a sportswear wholesaler. The role was a trail-by-fire blossoming into apparel design. From simply ‘prints on t-shirts’ design, study was undertaken outside of hours to understand garment construction and fabrics, and by the end of the year I was responsible for designing ranges of garments for seasons – men’s, women’s and children’s – found in the company’s retail outlets and stores such as Rebel Sport.
The role including garment sketches, story-boarding themes, measuring/separating prints for execution, colour matching and organisation, as well as photographing for advertisements and designing catalogues (print and web).
