Barton - Lecturer - Bristol, Bristol, City of, UK

Iain Barton

Bristol, Bristol, City of, UK

Summary

I would like to find work ideally around the Bristol area, though open to new situations, finding the right kind of job and working on innovative ideas in scientific, technical and mathematical areas is most important.

My background is a Physics Graduate from Nottingham University, PhD researcher in Aerospace Engineering from Manchester University and a Chartered Engineer since 2000. I have worked and enjoyed various roles at Cambridge University, Open University, Brunel University as a Lecturer, and as an engineering researcher at a European Research Centre and BAE Systems’ Advanced Technology Centre.

I have experience in most engineering and science topics, previous experience including topics in Maths, Physics, Engineering and Computing. Specific research and training interests covers Aerodynamics, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Computing, Programming, Nanotechnology, Renewable Energy, Energy Systems and Sustainability.
