JH ADR Services provides private mediation services for divorce/family issues, co-parenting, landlord-tenant, small business disputes, community/neighbor, elder and probate, employment, HOA, and personal injury. We are also contracted with the State of Colorado, Office of Dispute Resolution as a certified mediation provider. In addition, JH ADR Services is also now providing support for Parenting Coordination/Decision Making along with conflict coaching.
I believe in the power of mediation to give people the ability to determine their own outcomes for disputes which would otherwise be decided by a judge, usually with limited information and little regard for the ramifications which could result from the decisions made. I enjoy and truly appreciate the ability that I have to help people come together through the use of collaboration and genuine communication in order to move past their conflict by recognizing viable and realistic solutions.
I have had the desire for a long time to provide mediation services in my community and have done so through multiple outlets and organizations. With everything that has happened in 2020, most mediation settings have gone virtual and, with me being home with my children while they are doing online school, I realized the best solution for me to continue to provide these services would be to do this through my own business. It's a blessing to be able to still help people find their resolutions.
I have much of the same experience and knowledge, like so many others who also provide this service, but where I differ is in my ability to analyze and assess situations in order to help individuals to not only better understand the perspectives of the other party, but also to be able to better understand what their true interests and needs are based on the situation. I actively listen to all parties and ask questions that will stimulate the collaboration of the parties to effectively identify creative options and solutions.
I provide all services online via Zoom. Performing mediations online allows my clients more convenience and less time and expense.
