Why I went into wedding & event design and planning :
I am a creative with an a-type personality. A combination that causes ALOT of internal conflict. Trying to find order in chaos was something I always tried to achieve.
Event styling and planning is the perfect mixture of having the freedom to create while being structured and organised.
Where I get my inspiration from :
I like to think I live my life looking with purpose. From the blades of bright green grass that appear in a burnt field after the first rains to the textures of a woven scatter cushion cover or the smell of a freshly baked cake- everything inspires me. When we look at things with purpose, and not just let our surroundings pass us by - one will be pleasantly surprised by just how much beauty there is around us.
What my favorite event is to plan :
I have two that tie for first place - weddings and kiddies parties.
Having the privilege to walk the journey with a couple is so special and I love the sacredness of marriage. But working with kids is also a passion of mine - I love all the smiling and laughing when kids are having the time of their lives.
