What do you love most about your job?
We love the creative side but are also very enthusiastic about applying software to solve problems for our customers. Working with people and engaging with them daily is extremely rewarding.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Our team has been working together for over 13 years prior to setting up Torus tech. We have all worked in other software companies and met whilst working on various projects. We always collectively felt that we could offer more than simple Sofware development services and often saw first hand the many dangers faced by unsuspecting customers and how many Sofware companies exploit the market.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are passionate about launching a successful software product. We believe in adding value to our clients and will often exceed the scope of work to ensure that our customer is happy and that the software is practical and functional to the user.

Yes indeed. We have resources in South America, USA India and, of course, South Africa. all work collaboratively on our projects. Many of our customers have never met us face to face.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We have closed our doors to customer visits to our offices in Durban North and have empowered our teams with tools to stay online and work from home. We use online tools to demo and prove testing to the customer, so no need to meet face to face. We have also incentivised and kept the team employed.
