Q&As

I offer full function accounting services. Everything from monthly bookkeeping, payroll and statutory SARS submissions (VAT/ EMP201 / EMP501), to drafting of annual financial statements. I assist with CIPC company registrations, Labour Department registrations (UIF and WCA), and SARS registrations (PAYE/UIF/SDL, VAT, Income Tax)
I also assist with Provisional Tax and Income Tax returns for both companies and individuals

I believe in doing the right thing, every time. You get accountants that will break the rules, leaving them and yourself, as the business owner, exposed to possible legal action if caught.
In my opinion it comes down to Morals and Ethics.
Morals are concerned with an individual's feeling "good" or "bad," while ethics determine what behaviors are "right" or "wrong."
Ethics dictate what practical behaviors are allowed, while morals reflect our intentions.
I feel that great accountants consider morals as the rulebook and ethics as the motivator that leads to proper action.

Honestly, accounting and numbers just make sense to me. What I enjoy most however, is finding and fixing the problems. I enjoy new challenges, and in accounting you learn something new almost daily.

I became a mother. Children have a way of putting everything into perspective, making you reevaluate what's important. What opportunities do you want to give them, & what legacy you want to leave behind.

I am hardworking, and value honesty above most character traits. I am a planner, and hate leaving things for the last minute. Because of this, I am able to produce work that is not only accurate but also timeously done.

Yes, most definitely. I can easily service clients remotely with various online accounting software packages available to us these days. I have extensive experience on SAGE and SAGE Payroll and have worked on Zoho.com as well. As I said in a response to an earlier question, I am keen and capable of learning new things. This most definitely includes mastering new software.

Working remotely limits your contact with people tremendously. (This being positive, in the sense, that the possibility of exposure is dramatically decreased but also negative, we crave human interaction, even introverts eventually miss a friendly face.)
I try keep my customers safe by doing as much work as I can remotely, and when a client requires my services onsite for whatever reason, I mask up, maintain social distancing, and wash hands & sanitize often.
