I had the fortuitous opportunity to be coached by Klaus while I was enrolled in the Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching program. He coached me and my partner virtually as we were on opposite sides of the Atlantic. I loved his authentic and natural style immediately. Klaus has a genuine ability to meet people where they are and adapt to their needs. Coaching wasn’t new to me but it was to my partner and while initially hesitant, he quickly came around to seeing the power of it. I attribute that to Klaus. He is practical, intuitive and down to earth. I would recommend him for any type of relationship coaching; personal or organizational.

Having been a leader for 20 years in various roles, and in various pressured situations, and having navigating many change and improvement initiatives, I have a very good understanding of how tough it is to be a leader.
I have also been through various leadership training programs, and have had various managers along the way. Some of them simply appalling (causing hell for everyone around them) and some of them brilliant human beings (creating greatness around them).
During my last years in corporate, I enrolled in the program 'Organisation and Relationship System Coaching' which gave me as a leader a much broader skill set and a more helpful mindset and tools to deal with the real challenges in organisations.
It depends on our ability to function in teams, to work effectively with others!
Depending on our ability to work in systems in which we rely on each other's collaboration, success happens, or failure prevails.

Helping teams and organisations to overcome the interpersonal challenges that prevent them from achieving their goals as a unit, is my passion.

As the world gets tougher to navigate, and the pressures on people and organisations increase, we must find ways to work better together so that we can weather the storms we face.

We can be stronger together once we start appreciating our common humanity and our ability to work better together.

There is nothing more exciting and beautiful for me than to see individuals and teams find ways to tap into their collective intelligence and their ability to be creative to come together and solve the insolvable.

After leading people and organisations for 20 years, I was at a crossroad to take an opportunity to work outside of corporate again.
I am inspired by the many great people working in different organisations, or running their own companies, that hold dreams of working better together.
I am inspired to be an ally to leaders and company owners for them to find new ways to work with their teams and navigate these challenging times in service of themselves, the wellbeing of their people and the success of their organisation.

In addition to my 20 years of leadership experience and my experience coaching teams and individuals with various challenges, I take a very creative approach to helping leaders become more aware, confident and skilled in leading.
I bring a deep caring to the tricky and stressful situations people find themselves in, as well as some helpful humour to work with the myriad of impossible situations we find ourselves in.

As humans, we are infinitely resilient and creative, and we get stuck, frustrated and anxious at times, which prevents us from leveraging our resilient, creative, caring and intelligent self.

As a coach, I help you discover different perspectives on the challenges you are facing and ways to tap into your own resourcefulness to overcome these. I also provide training to teams and organisations in shifting their culture to include Relationship Systems Intelligence.

Further beyond Emotional Intelligence (relationship with oneself), and Social Intelligence (relationship with others) lies Relationship Systems Intelligence (RSI) where the focus is on the web of connection between members of the entire group, team or system.
RSI is an advanced and courageous way of approaching leadership and team interactions. The development of RSI within a team or organisational system accelerates collaboration and supports the creative thinking needed to face the current challenges.
The basic idea of RSI is the redirection of focus from the individuals within the system, to the whole system as an entity in itself. This shift in focus enables Leaders, teams and organisations to move beyond personal concerns and conflicts to a positive and generative group identity. The strength of a team’s identity provides resilience and the resources necessary to navigate the constantly changing challenges organisations face.

Yes, I coach online clients in South Africa, The Netherlands, Canada and Kuwait. I have also coached clients in Australia and the UK.
My training courses and coaching has been fully adjusted to being delivered online, which has proven to be very effective.

My preference has always been to work face to face with teams and individuals.
With the onset of COVID-19 all face to face work came to an end.

Services

Most diverse teams are plagued by internal and unresolved conflict which inhibits the team members to fully participate.
I help teams to see the opportunity in conflict so that conflict can be resolved, enabling the team's creativity and collective intelligence to be accessible.

Upskilling teams in dealing with conflict is more tricky, and more relevant in remote teams, enabling them to build stronger relationships despite their distribution.

These pandemic-like figures have massive implications on organisational effectiveness making it very expensive and almost impossible to achieve goals at the ideal cost base.

Various research efforts also show that companies that upskill themselves to create places in which diversity is intentionally leveraged and where belonging is nurtured are more productive, see greater talent retention and lower attrition.

Dealing with constant change means that teams and organisations need to cultivate their ability to evolve at the speed of change.
Through training in Relationship Systems Intelligence leaders and their teams learn to create the conditions in which they can be effective in environments of constant change.
