What do you love most about your job?
There are so many elements I love about being a web developer. From a creative standpoint, it's so great to see my work online. It makes me feel like I'm helping users all over the world finding exactly what they need and making the experience enjoyable. It's awesome seeing good click-thru results on my client's site statistics. When seeing them rank on search engines for search terms we've optimised for, is the greatest feeling.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've been working in the Digital Agency space now for 12 years and web development for 16. I think we all get to a stage in our lives where we have to make the choice to jump or settle. I feel that I have gained so much knowledge over the last one and a half decades of doing this, that I owe it to myself to try my hand at doing my own thing. I have the greatest respect and love for the company I worked with over the last 12 years, and I am continuing to contract for them since we have such a good relationship.
Why should our clients choose you?
So I suppose here is the part where I should say I'm the best and quickest and cheapest :). Jokes aside, I think you should use my services because I still believe in great customer service. If I pay for something, I want to feel that I've paid for something that added value to my life. I want to walk a digital road with my clients and not just take their money and forget about them.
I want to phone them up in a couple of months or a year to see how things are going and if they are getting leads from their website, and if we should look at updating something or if they're unhappy with anything. I feel we are continually let down by service providers and I would love to put an end to that.
I would love for you to be so happy with my service, that you tell your friends and business partners about me.
