Thabo and his tiler (named Given) undertook to finish tiling in the bathroom, open plan living area, kitchen floor and replaced loose tiles in the patio floor area of my home in Carlswald North Lifestyle Estate in Midrand. When the tiling was approx 95% complete, i discovered that 17 tiles on the bathroom wall and 3 tiles on the bathroom floor did not have enough tile cement as it had an echo sound when tapping on them with my knuckles. I pointed this out to them and they refused to fix the problem and abandoned the job at 95% in progress. What was concerning is that Thabo represented himself as a Renovator with artisans working for him but the tiler on the job was making decisions and made the decision to abandon the job at 95% when I pointed out the poorly layed 20 tiles with insufficient glue.
