I got my very first job at the kloof country club as receptionist, then waitress, then bar lady. I celebrated a fair few birthdays and special occasions there. This is an amazing place, with amazing people and managers and staff. Absolutely beautiful course to play on, especially the views while going round. Had a wonderful golf day recently in a beautiful setting. The course played well with the greens average to okay - I would say, about a month away from being really great, after a fairly recent and apparent scarification (no idea how to spell that! ) The halfway house offered excellent service and a good selection of food and drinks choice. The changerooms were their usual clean and tidy feel and look and the cocktail snacks at prize giving were exceptional - in particular, the mini bunny chows. The bar service is always excellent and the staff at Kloof, are all helpful and attentive. Could do with a few more waiters for outside though. More...
