How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Generally all garages are suitable form a conversion. If you are looking are converting into a separate room it would not need much planning as you already have the main structure and roof in place.
If you are looking at converting above your garage and extending up, we would need plans drawn and involve our architect and engineer to get the process going. We will offer full turnkey solution from initial meeting to handing over keys
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Clients contacts InHouse Concepts and we do a site inspection. We will then quote and if accepted we will get our engineer and architect involved. Once plans are drawn up and approved, the construction will start. Garage conversions usually take approximately 6-10 weeks depending on size of the garage and scope of works. A site inspection is definitely required by InHouse Concepts
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
If you get into your roof space and put your hand above your head and cannot touch the ridge of your roof, then generally your roof is suitable for a loft conversion. If it does, then you can do storage in that area. The best is to contact us for a site inspection and we can advise accordingly. There are many different ways to obtain and create space in your roof
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
Clients contacts InHouse Concepts and we do a site inspection. We will then quote and if accepted we will get our engineer and architect involved. Once plans are drawn up and approved, the construction will start. We would start by re-enforcing existing structure and removing internal roof webbing. Then we would install floor joists, with insulation and floor. After we have an open area to work with, the dry wall partitions, dry walling and ceilings are installed. Once they have been installed, skimming and painting is done, as well as electrical points and sanitary ware. While painting is done, the stairs are manufactured and installed. Stairs are last part of process as we don't want them damaged.

What guarantee does your work come with?
All work carried out by InHouse Concepts has a 3 year workmanship guarantee. Different suppliers offer guarantees on materials but none are less than a year

What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always been in the construction industry and before I started my own business I worked for a boss who did not offer a client a complete solution. the client had to always search for different suppliers to complete their project. I decided to be able to offer the client a one stop solution whereby everything would be managed under one roof from start to finish. I love working with people and I have a vision as to what the outcome could potentially look like

I believe that a persons home is their biggest assets and investment and when I walk into a clients home on the start of our project I treat it as my own. All my staff are highly trained and have all been with me for over 3 years. My main installer has been with me from word the start. We respect the client and their possessions and take pride in what we do
