I had Mixed feelings when I started at the academy but I'm glad to report that it was the best decision I made. The instructor Mr Nhlapo is very patient, knowledgeable and passionate about teaching. The theory and the practical are aligned smoothly. They make it so easy to learn. It's a pity I could not continue due to covid. I would recommend this institute to anyone who really wants to learn an instrument or wants to broaden their current knowledge. More...

What do you love most about your job?
Empowering students and imparting knowledge. Motivating individuals who are from different backgrounds.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Passion for music and imparting knowledge to others. We wanted to be independent and be able to offer services to cater for needs that were not met for us and others who wanted the same things.

The academy is run in an honest and trustworthy manner. We do not promise things we cannot fulfill. We pour our hearts into our work.

Yes, we do offer online lessons. We mostly use WhatsApp video calls so that the learner does not miss out on the interaction and being able to ask questions on the spot. We also send recorded video and audio lessons, as well as PDF files to study. WhatsApp is inexpensive and accessible for many.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We do not allow random walk-in enquiries. All lessons and enquiries are through bookings. Everyone who enters the academy is sanitised and must wear a mask at all times. Lessons are also one-on-one to minimise contact with many people.
Music lessons
We offer music theory and practical lessons.
There are full-time lessons as well as three types of part-time lessons to suit different needs.
Lessons are offered at the academy, online or hybrid, and are also offered in South African vernacular languages.
The registered programmes offer ABRSM/Trinity music grades.
Mixing and mastering
Learn the basics of mixing and mastering. How to balance instruments and vocals to get the best sounding music.
Music artwork
We design logos, posters, banners and cd covers and other artworks for artists.
We also create or improve artists' profiles.
