Chef's Pantry is a small established company running in Sun Valley, Cape Town. It was founded in 2019.

Our Executive Chef has worked in some of the top establishments in the United Kingdom for 17 years, Where he gained a lot of experience working in 5 star hotels and in 2 rosette restaurants with some of best talented chefs.

I don't have a signature dish, however if I had to choose it would be, Belgravia Gin Cured Venison Carpaccio, Red Wine & Pear Syrup, Pickled Walnuts & Blue Cheese.

I would consult with the client by giving them a personal experience. To start off I would find out what their budget is and what food they like and i will then create a menu for them based on that and they personal taste, so each of my menus are unique to them.

I love being chef you get to learn a lot about food. I get to learn what flavours accompany other meats, fruits, and vegetables that you may think is strange but actually work so well together!

I moved back to South Africa, after staying in the UK for 17 years. I couldn't find a job here in South Africa, then Covid started, so I started my own business to make a living. Honestly I should of started it earlier as I love having my own company .

I will cater to all your needs. Consulting; shopping, creating the exquisite meals, and leaving your kitchen or venue spotless. I bring a personal touch to every clients' event, allowing fuss free entertaining with unique meals and presentation. My food philosophy is seasonal, farm-to-table, ethical and local. Vegan, Keto, Paleo and Gluten-free can be accommodated too. Meals can be simple or complex, event dependant, yet always ensuring a unique experience for you and your guests.

All our staff following a strict Covid protocol procedures, which include always wearing a mask, sanitising every 30mins and disinfecting our work stations every 1 hour.

Our Executive Head Chef has more than 18 years experience in the restaurants, pubs and coffee shops trades, locally and abroad.

We will assist you in setting up your restaurant and guide you through those business breaking pitfalls, including menu planning, food costing, supplier management and staff training.

We make a range of desserts. For functions to birthday parties.

We recruit staff for the Hospitality Industry, specialising in Kitchen and FOH Staff.

All candidates are fully vetted and matched to positions before any introductions to Restaurant Management takes place.

Very reasonable fees are charged and your precious time is not wasted with fruitless and unnecessary meetings and interviews.

We also provide “Temporary and Stand-In” staff should anything unforeseen occur at your Restaurant.
