How long have you been in business?
Caritas nursing Care is a vibrant family based company whose core business is to minimize hospitalization and promote home based care to its optimal best. Caritas was Established Early In 1998 by Marti Van Zyl.
Our vision is to bring about nursing care outside of institutional confinement.
To maximize family relations without the agony of debilitation yet remain within legal parameters of the nurse patient relationship.

We have uniformed staff that are equipped as per the NDA with PPE to perform their duties however we do not supply equipment and supplies in with our services we charge the additional needs on a ADHOC basis.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I found there was a lack in empathy and compassion and this so happens to be the opposite of who I am, if there is a opportunity to do mutually beneficial business ( that's great, but is not essential to the relationship. ) promoting quality health care by working in partnership with hospitals, health institutions and health care workers in general as well as the families and our staff is the main thing.

Alzheimer's Care Services
Some caregivers need help when the person is in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease. Other caregivers look for help when the person is in the later stages of Alzheimer's.

Home Based Care Services (HBC)
Defined by world health standards as formal or informal health services provided in the home to enable the patient or the person to be cared for the opportunity to restore and maintain maximum levels of comfort.
HBC is recommended when a person requiring care (the patient) would like to remain in their home environment but needs additional healthcare that the family are not able to provide. HBC may be required for short periods e.g. recovery from surgery, bedsores; or for a medium term_e.g. while undergoing physiotherapy or full time long-term. e.g. Terminal illness
