Ashley is the best, such amazing incredible service from the start to the end. The cake tasting was so beautifully done and all the cakes was delicious we had difficulty choosing our flavours. We had 2 weddings, the first cake for the traditional wedding many told us was impossible to make but Ashley was the only baker who agreed without hesitantation and that to me is a true baker by heart and profession. And guess what the cake came out unreal and nobody believed it was all cake, I think this is the first to be made in south africa which means Ashley can do the impossible That cake was a show stopper and not to mention everyone was blown away by the flavors. 2nd cake was stunning and flavors just as amazing. The experience from beginning to end was amazing. Professional, courtious, attention to detail. Ashley is absolutely wonderful, he created my entire vision for mybsons Wild One themed party after just a brief phone call and 2 pictures. Ashley from Aqd Cakery Studio very quickly gained my confidence. Very patient human being. And this was followed by doing exactly what he committed to doing, be it cake tasting, etc. I value commitment, and someone that just gets the job done and delivers on time, exactly what was ordered. But Ashley goes beyond and makes an effort to guide. The 3 tier wedding cake, together with 2 more cakes had to be in a different Province and he was willing to avail himself to guide in any way required. AQD honestly gave me great service.

Had a birthday party in November and from the beginning of the process till the end everything went smoothly. Ashley was very accomodating and asked the right questions to make sure I got the perfect cake!. Greatful for their assistance and honesty.

Gave them 4 stars cause there's always room for improvement and the symmetry of the cake could be better. Either than that I'm happy 😊.

From the day I requested a quote for a wedding cake [which I ordered as a wedding present], Ashley and his team created a journey, with a high tea tasting, meeting the bridal couple, made sure about their requirements, delivered and set up the cake at the wedding venue, and to top it all made the most beautiful video about the setting up the cake at the venue.

He kept me in the loop with the progress, and the most important his quote was affordable and worth every cent I paid.

The bridal couple was over the moon, receiving a cake as they wanted and extremely tasty

Ashley it was a pleasure to work with someone who created a friendly and inspiring environment to work with.

The cake was perfect! Loved the presentation of the cake, but more importantly, we loved the taste.
