The historic town on Conway is a very sweet town made up of shops, bakeries, and even a general store. While walking through the town we stopped at the Trestle for breakfast. I enjoyed a wonderful fluffy and flaky raspberry turnover. My niece had a cake pop. While not the most nutritious breakfast we wanted to experience the ambiance of this quant town. The Trestle has several options to choose from. It was late morning so several items were sold out. It's a nice place to stop in for a pastry and a cup of coffee. Enjoy!

We hired Lindsey without even trying her whoopie pies first... thats how amazing the reviews we heard of Makin' Whoopie were. All the hype around Makin' Whoopie is 100% true! My, now, husband and I are not traditional cake people and were on the hunt for something more unique, delicious, and fun for our wedding. As soon as we heard of Makin' Whoopie, we were sold. Whoopie pies are delicious, they are easy handheld serving sizes, and all the flavors Lindsey offers makes them so unique. We did 3 flavors for our wedding and all were gone after the mad dessert rush! Thank goodness Lindsey pre made my husband and I each a personal box containing all 3 flavors that she handed our wedding planner for safe keeping. So thoughtful! We could savor them in peace later on. Lindsey is so quick to respond and such a pleasure to work with! She delivered the whoopie pies right to our venue! Desserts really could not be any more delicious, unique, or easy! Thank you so much Lindsey! We recommend Makin' Whoopie to anyone for any occasion!

The cake turned out perfectly! I am overjoyed with it. Not only did it look amazing, but it tasted amazing too! She really went out of her way to help us with this, to make sure it was the right size, delivery, and picking up the flowers for the cake from us after a problem with those not being delivered to the reception venue. I love SWANK desserts! The head pastry chef is phenomenal, professional, and o so creative and talented! I love the opportunity to work with her. I have used her for three different events and cant wait for the next opportunity to work with her.
The presentation of her work is almost as delicious as the desserts. She does an amazing Champagne flavored Macaroon and she can add pop rocks, yes that's right, POP ROCKS to them! Simply amazing to bring to any event! Every time I bring them, people fall in love!

Melissa was so amazing to work with! Our wedding cake and all of our cupcakes and other desserts turned out SO beautifully and tasted AMAZING! We had a lot of our guests mention how great they tasted as well as the uniqueness of the flavors! HIGHLY recommended! I know I'll for sure be going back for any future events!

Nicole is the best! She was recommened by a friend who knows I am a super picky bakery person- being from N.Y. Despite being super busy she was able to accommodate our wedding date because of our moving situation (out of the country and coming from nyc to sc to get married). We had a cake tasting which was amazing. She has two different kinds of frosting available (which we didn't ask for but being such a good baker she knew people would have different taste). My husband is a "less sugar is more" kind of person and he did not complain at all trying all the requested types of cake and its frosting. I was so surprised. He ended up picking out our entire cake- Lol it was one of the fun moments of wedding planning. I didn't mind one flavor cake, but he thought a different flavor for every layer (3 layers) would be best. We loved the oreo with vanilla bean buttercream, red velvet with cream cheese buttercream (this was a guest favorote) and the lemon cake with vanilla bean buttercream and lemon curd filling (
