Found this wonderful place on Find Me Gluten Free. The owner and employees were extremely helpful. There are many gluten free options including biscuits, toasts, sandwiches, and desserts. You can also get GF cheese and king cake slices!
I had my Birthday outting/ Ladies Night at Bake & Sip(Opelousas) and it was everything! I highly recommend everyone to book a party with them..Charlie and Daniel were amazing and you would have thought we known each other for years. Their cakes are so moist and delicious. Great learning experience, good food(chosen cakes catered) they also played my kind of music...Thanks Chosen Cakes
Mona's did the floral covering for my Dad's casket. His services was on Friday,7-19-19.Our Family was pleased with the arrangement and the price was comfortably affordable. MONA'S is a Black owned and operated business. I would suggest that you give her a try for any if your floral needs. MsJo⚘
I love this coffee shop! Possibly one of my favorites in the city! It’s so quaint and it really is a great setup for a studying student! They have power outlet strips along the wall and comfy couches and chairs to sit in! They also have great outdoor seating (when it’s not too hot of course ) and it’s very bike accessible. Love love love this place!!
The best tasting cakes in NOLA if your a cake lover. Ialways get our birthday cakes from this company and they Never disappoint! We haven't ordered any wedding cakes but all their cakes I've gotten from the are usually the old traditional looking image. They are beautiful and remind you of the old days. And that's fine with me. Being most of these other bakeries aren't really good, might look pretty but taste don't add up. IJS I would rather a traditional cake with great taste & moisture than a fancy up to date cake that's dry and nasty.
Our cakes were PERFECT. From the tasting to our wedding day, the Royal Cakery team made us feel like family. Guests still tell us how delicious the cakes were. Get your wedding/event/birthday cake here. Seriously! :)
Anne's cake is very good, and she is open to working on non-traditional designs. This came in handy with our Lovecraft-inspired wedding cake. Cthulhu on top of our cake looked amazing. Our only complaint is that we thought the figure would be a tad bigger based on the post-consultation design. Oh well, it still resulted in the desired response from our guests. And no one complained about how good the cake tasted. I would recommend Mad Batter Bakery to anyone looking for a creative cake.
Great location and beautiful hotel with lots of character. Clean rooms, plentiful amenities, very good (free) breakfast, and complimentary first drinks. The staff was very accommodating even though we had made a mistake with our booking and were very professional, helpful, and friendly overall. The hotel is a little old, so there is some wear and tear, but if you look a little more closely, it's definitely clean. All I can say is that I would definitely look to stay in this hotel every time I'm there.
The Pontchartrain Hotel was such a wonderful experience! It's placed right along the St. Charles trolley line, surrounded by beautiful homes and just a short ride from the Audubon Zoo and Park. The building itself is gorgeous, with both traditional New Orleans charm and modern upgrades in all the rooms. We stayed in the Thalia Family Suite, which was perfect for our us and our kids! The room was beautiful and exceptionally clean. But honestly, the best part of our stay was the staff! They were so friendly and welcoming! They even learned the names of our kids and went out of their way to be kind and helpful to our family. My husband and I plan to return next year and wouldn't want to stay anywhere but the Pontchartrain!
This is a gorgeous space with classic Nola details. I felt like I traveled back in time to a charming Cajun era. Matthew was really helpful in explaining my options for hosting our grad school mixer here, and the price range was reasonable. He was willing to offer different packages based on our needs and that was something we weren't able to get from other venues we contacted. The event itself went smoothly, with very clean, well laid out place settings, AV system in check, and Matthew on hand for any extra help. Even though we didn't pay him for cleaning, he stayed until after one a.m. to clean and helped us carry extra food and drinks back to my car.
Our cake was fantastic, the taste, the look, the set up was all amazing. Mrs Samanta the owner out did herself and in the middle of a power outage during the storm. God made a way out of no way and we were very thrilled with the results of both the wedding and the grooms cake.

I want to keep my top of the cake and serve 80 people. I want a 14 inches at the bottom and a small round or square at the top. That is example of the style. I want buttercream with light pink, gold and a mint green
