Zibatreats is a prestigious cake shop in San Francisco. We make beautiful, organic and not too sweet cakes, custom cakes and wedding cakes.
I love having a reason for a custom cake, and I'm all for supporting talented local bakers. Zibatreats came on my radar sometime during late September, which was great timing for my dad's birthday coming up early November. Based on my experience I've noticed that bakers who make custom cakes may require the order to be placed 3-4 weeks, so I was right in the threshold. I did see on their website, however, that they had cakes available with a day's notice. I was super impressed by how gorgeous the cakes were. The rose pattern, which appeared to be Zibatreats' signature design, was particularly elegant and stunning. I've never seen anything so unique! I ordered a Tiramisu Whipped cream with banana and walnuts. Now, get this... each slice of cake has only 20 grams of sugar (not including the fondant). This was a huge selling point for me, because I personally have been trying to cut back on my sugar consumption. Zibatreats also made Keto, Vegan and gluten-free cakes to accommodate specific dietary requirements, which I thought was very cool. I opted to have the cake delivered for an additional fee. Zibatreats set a period of time for when my dad should receive the cake, and he got it during this expected timeframe. The cake was beautifully packaged and arrived in perfection condition during transit. To maintain the freshness, my dad kept the cake in the fridge until serving. The cake was such a hit! The cake was so light and delightful. Everyone in my family loved it and appreciated how the cake wasn't overly sweet. You get the natural sweetness from the fresh bananas as well, which you can see in between the layers. Lastly, I want to note the awesome customer service at Zibatreats. I corresponded with Hosna from Zibatreats during the entire transaction. She helped me with customizing the cake, and she was communicative and quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. She was amazing to work with.

Ryan Scott 2 Go and his team are beyond amazing!! I would use them again and again. First off the communication and patience and understanding was awesome! I never had any issues getting in contact with them and they were always so helpful and understanding. Beyond that the food is what you really want to know about, IT WAS SIMPLY DIVINE!! I got so many compliments from my guests at my wedding reception. They loved everything. My husband even wants personal catering now haha. It was a blast working with them and I would highly highly recommend them if you’re on the lookout for catering!!
A good friend of mine asked me to pick up cupcakes for her sisters birthday. For my convenience I tried to find the closest cupcake shop to my house, because how good can one cupcake be over another, right? Wrong! Cups and Cakes has an amazing variety of cupcakes all of which are delicious. The great thing about their cupcakes is it's not just your standard chocolate or vanilla (although they have those too). They have a ton of interesting flavors like the German Chocolate Cupcake and the Maple Bacon Cupcake, and for those of you who want to try a few different flavors... they also have mini cupcakes!
So love Tina!!! When I saw her creations on her Instagram page, I knew I'd want her to make my cake for my wedding. Her cake was heavenly! I chose the vanilla bean cake and it was soft and melts in the mouth. The frosting was perfect too! Not too sweet and very light. My guests craved for her pastries and other desserts as well. I ordered her famous fresh berry tarts, brownies and chocolate chip cookies. She'd definitely earned a returning customer in me.
Yesterday at work a client brought in samples of Rachel's cakes for us to try.We are at Mondi in burlingame, and let me tell you every flavor of cake was better than the next........our salon has lots of people in and out daily and we will gladly pass on the news about how great Rachels Cakes are, good luck and you will definitely see more of us!!!!!
If I had reviewed this the first time I visited, after getting a huge cupcake with a filling and delicious topping and soft perfect cake, I'd have given 5-star. But two subsequent visits were good but a bit dried out. Seems consistency isn't key unless that one cupcake was the only one I really like on their menu (can't remember what it was called now).
My only go-to cake ordering service from now on. Butter& is a joy in my life. My family and I love their cakes so much, it has become the necessary cake for a number of special events -- my baby shower, holidays, and for birthdays. It really holds a special place in our hearts! Cakes: Decadent written all over it. Butter& weds minimalism, class, and chic all too well into their cakes. Online you can choose from the templates to have your cake made to order. I like that there are categories to select from so it makes it easy in case you aren't sure what design to go with. Most importantly, is the perfection of how the cake is composed. Moist, soft, fresh and still, not too sweet. Order the sweet cream & roasted berries as it is their most popular flavor for a reason. We've also tried the passion fruit chocolate, which is my fave, but it's only a seasonal (hoping they bring this back one time!). Both cakes blend in the right amount of tartness with that buttery creamy cake. $$: WORTH. IT. Maybe even, "affordable" to other comparable cake places in the bay, especially for the quality. Parking/location: in a quieter corner of the eclectic Dogpatch neighborhood. There is standby street parking out front, or you may even choose to just double park and hazard, as the street it's on is not wildly busy.I love you, Butter&! And I'm patiently awaiting the next event I can order a cake cause you know I'm coming for you. :)
We ar ea full service Pastry Catering establishment, that can span the gambit from Wedding Cakes to Corporate Catering events with personalized logos. I've been a Wedding Cake designer for 18 years, training under celebrity wedding pastry chefs, and developing private clients, corporate clients, and personal clients in the Bay Area for that time. While I'm willing to personalize your event with the decorations of your dreams, I will always advise on how to best prioritize flavor, seasonality, and local product.
Helping people figure it out! Navigating options can be tricky, and event planning should be FUN. It's my goal to help you figure out the perfect thing, break down exactly what the costs are, make it FAIR and manageable, and help you find the joy in the planning.
Passion. I've been in the industry 20 years. It should be passionate, creative, exciting. It shouldn't be average, boring, cost-prohibitive, bougie. I see too much overcharging and not enough joy in what chefs do. So my goal is to bring my joy to your event, because, well, I'm lucky to be doing what I do.
I don't lie or upcharge for no reason. I lay it all out for you, and help you match your vision to your budget. There is no reason to compromise one or the other, there's a way to get the best of both worlds.
I can consult online or remotely. I can help organize that way, but my products are edible, and beautiful, so shipping is a risk.
I booster vaccinate every 6 months. My facility requires vaccination for all clients to enter the building.
