This was my husband's 40th birthday & our theme was a "fishing" theme - she made a TUNA on the side of this! It was chocolate chocolate & SO MUCH CHOCOLATE! The one thing that my husband absolutely LOVES! We ordered so many desserts & EVERYONE devoured them - This Chocolate Cake in my husband's words "WAS THE BEST CHOCOLATE CAKE HE HAS EVER HAD" - Rachelle absolutely did an amazing job & we will definitely be using her in the future! THANK YOU THANK YOU!

I couldn't have been happier with how my Honeybee cake turned out for my friends birthday last weekend! The owner listened to what I wanted and used her creative genius to design an absolutely unique and gorgeous cake for the bday girl. I gave her the main points of what I wanted and she took my idea and ran with it! The flavors were on point (caramel filling, toffee bits )and she added some delicious lemon bars on top of it that made for an overall great experience with Honeybee Baking! Highly recommend for bdays, showers, weddings or just because! Already thinking of the next occasion I can have an excuse to eat cake!

wow!! My (now) husband and I were so impressed with the taste!!! We ordered a 3-tier cake, each layer was a different flavor cake! So delicious!!! They make the cake EXACTLY how I wanted it! So much work when into making it look perfect. And the staff make sure they we knew how to transport our cake and assemble it to make sure it stayed just as beautiful! I could eat one of these EVERY day!!!!!

I absolutely recommend Tara for your party dessert needs. Her selection is great (mini cheesecakes and pies? Yes please!), she is very responsive and helpful by email, she delivered exactly in the delivery window and the desserts were a hit. We ordered 4 dozen cake pops (chocolate and red velvet) and mini raspberry-chocolate cheesecakes. You can pay extra to have each cakepop wrapped in cellophane, which I recommend if you want people to be able to take them home. They are beautifully decorated with sprinkles, and the icing-cake ratio is spot on (just a light coating). The consistency is more similar to a fudgey brownie than regular cake, but it was very tasty. The red velvet was definitely the stand-out (lots of people went out of their way to remark on how good it was). I hope I get the opportunity to work with Tara again, she was so helpful and on very short notice too.

Ordered cupcakes for our wedding and they were fantastic! The ladies there were a pleasure to work with. The cupcakes were a huge hit at our wedding! They were delivered on time and the most delicious cupcakes ever. Will definitely be back for more!

Delicious desserts, a bit of a wait, but that was expected. Overall great experience especially if you dine in. The presentation and taste of the desserts are up to standard, if you want a dessert experience go here

I love this place. Everything is so delicious. I had them make the cake and cupcakes for my wedding. I was not disappointed, at all. This place is a class act. I visit it every time I come on to the island.

My wife and I really enjoyed Frat Boys Donuts. We stopped in later in the day on a Sunday and I was afraid that they would be wiped out but I was pleasantly surprised that they had a nice selection of donuts. They run a little bit more then your generic donut shop but they are well worth the price of about $3 each and their flavors are things you don't normally see offered. We took ours just down the road to Mission Beach Park and enjoy them while looking at the ocean which made them taste even better. The next time you're in Pacific Beach stop by Frat Boys Donuts and give them a try
