Are you feeling hopeless, sad, angry, lonely, frustrated and/or depressed? Maybe it's a matter of you trying to escape these emotions using alcohol, drugs or food. At the end of the latest bender these emotions remain. You're frustrated you can't solve this on your own. And you feel if others acted different then you wouldn't drink or use so much. You may be in a relationship with someone suffering from an addiction. You try hard to fix them and the harder you try the more frustrated and hurt you become. And if they don't change it's your fault somehow. It may be a matter of getting an accurate diagnosis in order to have the proper care. You don't have to live like this. What I offer you is a trusting, compassionate and supportive environment to explore what's keeping you stuck in painful patterns whether it's addiction or a failing relationship. By working through these painful issues you can find freedom for what's keeping you miserable. You will receive an objective listener and encouragement to walk through the discomfort. I've worked with a wide range of various issues from drug and alcohol abuse, mood disorders (depression, anxiety and bi-polar disorder), relatives with loved ones in addiction, childhood sexual abuse issues, relationships, and co-dependency.

What do you love most about your job?

What I love most about my job is seeing people come into therapy feeling all kinds of negative emotions, turning those emotions around, learning from the past and moving forward into something much better than imagined before. It's a joy to watch clients gain insight into where there was confusion. I enjoy watching clients strive towards personal freedom from the past and transcend the ugliness. I have the privilege to watch people grow emotionally.

What inspired you to start your own business?

What inspired me was I went through intensive therapy many years ago. I had a kind and supportive therapist guide me through unsettling issues. I was able to have a sense of freedom that I never felt. It was this experience that inspired me to start my own practice. I've always had a fascination with psychology and I knew from that moment this is what I wanted to do. It is amazing what I get to do for a living.

Why should our clients choose you?

I'm objective, analytical, intuitive, collaborative, empathetic, flexible, a good listener, challenging and down to earth in my sessions. I believe by challenging thoughts, beliefs, emotions and personal interpretations produces relief and insight. This insight can be used to make lasting changes, find personal freedom and not be bound to the past. You will have more happiness, more peace and knowing a happier you. I use various therapeutic approaches in my practice tailored to meet your strengths and goals.
