Marty reached out and we scheduled a meeting. He thoroughly explained his process and why he and his staff enjoy working with individuals such as myself who has been out of the gym for a few years and need assistance getting back in shape . My 2nd meeting with Marty was a very extensive assessment for a starting point. The environment is welcoming and inviting. Very friendly staff!

Her goal is to help support you in pursuit of all your health and fitness goals, without the unsustainable quick-fixes, crash diets, and crazy workout programs. Kristen’s approach to wellness solutions is inclusive, educational, and custom fit to your needs.
Paulina Pinsky
Working with Kristen has completely changed my life for the better.
Not only is she a brilliant physical educator, but she is such a bright light and beautiful human being. She has single-handedly changed the way that I view exercise and the way that I eat.
I was a childhood figure skater for thirteen years of my childhood. I came to her with a s***-ton of exercise trauma and a long history of eating disorders. I have had a lifetime of experience of personal trainers and "nutritionists", and all of them fall flat when in comparison to Kristen. The growth she has facilitated has been stunning. She is a trusted resource when it comes to movement and nutrition, transparent about her training and education, which makes me trust her. So many physical trainers and nutritionists are coming from a disordered place and do not know what they are talking about-- that is not Kristen. She is truly a healer. She meets you where you are and takes you where you want to go.
She will change the way you move, the way you eat, and the way you view yourself-- you will become a better person under her guidance.
Her positive energy and intuitive eating/movement approach has changed my outlook on life and on myself. I am a better person because I work with Kristen-- I can do hard things because she is in my corner, and she does so with such joy, humor, and grace.
It is a mistake not to work with Kristen-- above all, she is an utter delight to work with.

Ashley offers: - Personal training for individuals or groups - 1:1 Health Coaching - Group Challenges - 8 week programs

Ashley has been my trainer since September 2016, and this review is long overdue. Personally, I have been a big skeptic of personal trainers for a few different reasons: 1) They are expensive.2) Their programs are generic.3) Their workout routines are boring.Ashley is none of those things! Since my initial orientation with her, she heard my needs, why I needed a personal trainer, and what my goals were. I have accountability issues when it comes to exercise and that is why I needed a trainer that just doesn't let me off the hook easily and doesn't make me do routine workouts.I have yet to repeat any of my workouts with Ashley. Her workouts are fun, engaging, and always challenging. Her 60-minute sessions fly by and you always leave feeling so accomplished and positive. The results speak for themselves. I was able to drop 10-15 pounds in the first few weeks. I work out at Ashley's personal gym, based in Nashville and I love her place. She also does in-house training visits and online 1:1 health and fitness coaching. All of her programs are super effective. She does an amazing job of coaching you and giving you the tools and knowledge to be successful both mentally and physically during and after her workouts. If you are looking for a personal trainer, mentor, and positive role model that truly cares about health/wellness/fitness and her clients, then look no further. I am very lucky to have found her. A hidden gem for sure and I will hope to continue my personal training adventure with her.

Hello my name is Coach Tramaine. Most of my clients call me Coach Tee. I’ve been training for over 10 years. I’ve trained individuals and groups from all populations. My partners and I recently opened our boxing and fitness studio in the Wedgewood-Houston area of Nashville that specializes in sports performance, weight loss, self defense, strength/ conditioning and nutrition.
TL S.
I would have never considered boxing as a form of cardio but the moment I tried it I fell in love with it almost instantly. Â As a female, we mostly look to treadmills and elliptical machines for cardio. Â Unless we are simply gym junkies we go into the gym unaware of what machines we should use to target what area of your body. Â From my experience, I find that boxing targets every area of your body and that I sweat more from 45 minutes of boxing than I do running the treadmill for an hours. Â Coach T make sure that he targets every area of your body and core. Â I also find boxing as a great stress reliever. Â When I find myself upset and angry, I find that hitting the bag is a great way to blow off some steam while getting in a good workout at the same time. Â I recommend everyone (especially females) that is bored with the treadmill and elliptical and want to do something different, to give T.I.K.I. Fitness a go. Â YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED

I combine different styles of training to eliminate plateau’s, creating a challenging, and fun environment for your workouts. Everything I do is geared toward your goals and wants as a client. I am big on nutrition and teaching you how to eat because I want you to know what is right from wrong so that you can have the knowledge to sustain a healthy lifestyle forever without the need of a trainer. Grind Fitness is a private training facility that I own. So you get the attention that you need during your session without all the expensive gym fees that can get in the way. My style of training gets results guaranteed! I offer training geared towards: losing weight, gaining weight, getting toned, building muscle, gaining flexibility and boosting endurance. I played sports growing up and love working with young athletes helping them advance in their sport with increased strength and endurance through functional training. Being a veteran, I know first hand what is needed to endure the mental and physical challenges of the military. I led physical training for my unit and have trained several clients who have met or exceeded the physical military standards to enter the military. I offer a variety of session times to meet a variety of budgets. 30, 45, and 60 min sessions. I have a flexible schedule offering morning, afternoon, and evening sessions 7 days a week. I work with all types of clients. Young to old, injury free to many medical conditions, and have even rehabbed many clients back to normal activity after an injury. I work with both male and female clients. I care about the longevity of my clients. Not just getting you to your goal number. I want you to be able to get there and be able to maintain it so that you don’t go right back to where you started. Don't be afraid to ask questions! As a personal trainer, I am here to get you to YOUR goals, not mine. Don't be afraid to share with me what's on your mind and what concerns you have. There is no such thing as a stupid question. I love what I do!
I work hard to help my clients meet and achieve their personal & wellness goals. I'm big on nutrition & teaching you what's right and wrong as eating right is a big part of getting the results that you desire. When you sign up with me as your trainer, I will sit down with you and work out a meal plan that is practical and that will work with the foods that you like to eat. No starving, no pills, no shots, or diet fads for those wanting to lose weight and no crazy food plan for those trying to gain weight or muscle. A lifestyle change that truly gets results! Ask any client of mine.
My way of training requires a partnership. That’s what gets you results! Committing to giving max effort in the gym when we are together and following your meal plan when you aren't with me. You will feel better, look better, and fall into a lifestyle that you can maintain for a lifetime. I take great care to make sure that my training sessions have a balance of all muscle groups, as well as areas of balance, strength, core, cardio, and mobility/flexibility while promoting your diet as well.
My Passion for Health and Fitness is my life! As a personal trainer, I am here to get you to YOUR goals, not mine. I love seeing a positive change in my clients self esteem when they meet their fitness goals. It's not always about the physical change, but the mental change that goes along with feeling great about how far you have come in your fitness journey.
I was born in Greenville,SC on November 2, 1988. Shortly after I moved to Nashville, Tennessee. My parents divorced at a young age with my father moving to Atlanta and me staying in Nashville with my mother and younger brother. Growing up poor and at times homeless during my youth, moving place to place, I knew I never wanted to live like that again. As a young teenager I spent time at my great grandmother's house and with my uncle Terry during the summer. My uncle soon passed away from complications of diabetes and after seeing the way things affect your body I chose to start taking better care of myself.
A high school drop out at the age of 16, I worked 40 hours a week at a fast food chain. Deciding I needed to do something more with my life, I got my G.E.D. at the age of 18 and enrolled at High-Tech Institute for Medical Billing and Coding while working two part-time jobs as well. Being poor and struggling to get by, it was difficult - as walking a few hours to go to all three places was my mode of transportation. Graduating shortly after, I realized that billing and coding just wasn't a job that i would enjoy as a life-long career. Being at a fast food chain and not liking the potential there either, I chose to join the U.S. Navy. After basic training in Great Lakes, Illinois and A-school in San Antonio, Texas, I spent my remaining time in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This is where I really started to fall in love with fitness.
I initially began with helping some friends with tips and workouts. Loving the feeling I got from seeing the people I helped get stronger and seeing a boost in their confidence, I later became a Command Fitness Leader(also known as CFL) at my command. I found myself constantly looking up workouts and nutrition advice and it donned on me, "I do this for fun why not make a career out of it?". After a 4 year enlistment, I chose to leave the Navy and return home to Tennessee to pursue a new passion. Growing up as a 6'2" 180 pound high school football player who struggled to gain weight, I knew the importance of training and trying to become bigger and stronger to maximize my potential.
After I returned home at the age of 25, I needed something to fuel my competitive drive and started training to compete in bodybuilding. I met a trainer with 15+ years experience that helped coach me through bodybuilding and laid down the path to become a personal trainer. I went on to obtain my ISSA certification in January 2015 and I am currently attending college to attain my degree as a Nutritional Dietician and Exercise Science Specialist and working at my own personal training facility providing personal training and nutritional advice.
I care about the longevity of my clients. Not just getting you to your goal number. I want you to be able to get there and be able to maintain it so that you don’t go right back to where you started. On our initial meeting, I will sit down with you to learn more about what has motivated you to be in front of me today and learn about what obstacles are keeping you from reaching our goals. I will then formulate a plan to help you achieve your goals one step at a time.
I love what I do and my clients love that I put them first!
