What do you love most about your job?

The excitement of planning and designing memorable wedding and events , and seeing the facial expression of our clients when they see their vision before them as they walk into the room. You get such a feeling of satisfaction and an overwhelming feeling comes over you, its very exciting.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Events was always apart of me when I was in high school. I was setting up fashion show events, and busy helping design school events, and helping at home with family parties and dinners. This extended to my job where I was assigned to handle our office parties for employees birthday and company parties. When my best friend asked me to plan and design her wedding of 350 guest, I was shocked and a bit doubtful if I could of pulled it off, I did with flying colors, and my passion for event planning was in full force from there on.

There are many great and creative planners in the industry and we all have one goal in mind " happy clients ". What I would like my ideal clients to take away from the answer to this question: At HazelBurgan.com we are all about you having the best time of your lives with friends and family, no matter what event it is. We love planning , designing and making sure that the guest have such a great time that they do not want to leave the venue, and our clients are very pleased with our execution.

Yes we can and we do. Since the pandemic hit us in 2020, the industry took a great fall and business was very slow, and we started Zoom , text and phone contact with our clients and they loved it. We were able to get much accomplished and all events were amazing.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

We follow guidelines with distancing, and even all clients have to keep their mask on while consulting in person. We have not had any issues with clients not being comfortable with our decision. Presently we are doing online zoom, text and emails with all our clients.
