Compassionate and Caring. I knew I needed to talk with Cat about some fears I was experiencing, but when the time came, I wasn't sure I wanted to deal with them. Cat graciously waited for me to share, while making me feel safe in sharing. As we walked through each fear, I realized they were just that, fears. We replaced those fears with truth and I developed a system to deal with these and other fears as they come up in the future. I had such a great experience in my Clearing Session. Cheryl helped me move through a traumatic event from my past so I could get unstuck and get on with my life. The best part is that it happened in one session- in less than an hour. And, I didn't have to dwell in my pain, bring up old memories, or write 17 journal pages to get to the other side. Cheryl is like ibuprofen for my soul.

There is no one better at what she does. She is one of the most dedicated professionals that I have ever worked with. She goes above and beyond the call of duty to lend support. Once you decide what your goals are, she gets to work. She also has exceptional expertise in job coaching. She helped me find the job of my dreams and helped me strategize, focus, and go for what I wanted. I can not stress enough to everyone how conscientious she is. She puts into consideration the type of person you are and communicates with you in a way that works best for you. It also means that she is very compassionate and sensitive to where you are at the moment of time that you are seeking her services. DISCLAIMER: you may think that this will sound silly or funny; it is neither, but if it sounds like that to you than this disclaimer IS for you. You MUST be open to an INORDINATE amount of CHANGE when working with Tara, a magnitude of which you cannot quantify in any measurement here on this planet. Also another disclaimer - I use the true meaning of words rather than their connotations. If you find a negative context in my review that's something that you have brought to it, not me. You cannot be ready for this, you can only be open to this. I have worked with therapists for years to work on my mental health and for maintenance. Most of my self development has happened in a vacuum, I'm not even sure if I knew where I was really going. I have toyed with the idea of different kind of mentors/coaching before and was a complete skeptic on the entire thing but STILL decided sign up for Bark and see what happens. Out of all the passive aggressive messages I received for coaching on Bark after signing up, Tara was the only one whom I could tell was actually INTERESTED in MY STORY and didn't drown me in messages about it. Tara met with me and I knew so immediately that she was my coach I decided to remain extra skeptical about the whole thing but it was too late. She was already helping me be more me than I have been in years. Tara has a method of communication that is exacting and lovingly kind, but highly and deeply investigative (yes high and deep). With your permission, she WILL challenge you, and challenge those beliefs that you carry that now LIMIT you in your path. If "challenge" sounds intimidating to you at this juncture - it's probably because no one has challenged you on anything, or maybe you don't challenge yourself. This isn't some fluffy experience, like I said before, you need to be ready and open to REAL CHANGE. However - Tara knows this, she carefully brings you outside the box of your comfort to let you see what you are ACTUALLY capable of and helps you play outside of the box in a way that's comfortable. My story is a little different than most but similar in ways that I hope this can put some things into perspective - I came to Tara thinking that what I needed was external achievement to define success for myself. Tara helped me dig though, and dig down deep to find that what my job title is, what my duties are, what I do after work, day's I don't feel like going outside or getting out of bed - these things are not me. Tara helped me find who I am, and how to keep discovering myself, and how to EMPLOY curiosity and explore my interests, my skills, my life in a way that I am currently running out of words to describe. It feels like I have had a reset in my life - like I have somehow gotten back to that childlike sense of wonderment and blindly ignorant to how society/people SHOULD make me feel. Even the language I use is changing, how I perceive my world, how I breathe air, how I brush my teeth. Anyway - yes working with Tara is great, Tara is an amazing awesome fantastic determined, hardworking, decisive, mind ninja. But why she is great is because she gets YOU to make YOU better. She doesn't do this for you, this isn't some like package you get with all the tools. Tara will help you realize that you have had it in you all long, and that you have all the tools too and she works devastatingly hard to guide you into how to use all of these tools you either knew or didn't know you had. Because you really do have it in you I promise. I'm not sure this review will hit you the same as me writing it to be honest, I'm excited for you to start working with Tara so that you too can understand that I cannot simply impart to you what and how this will go for you. The way I perceive things and and relate to things now feels like a foreign language to me versus how I felt about things before. The way I do things sets me up now to work on other things I want. I have all of this time, it almost feels like I'm a different person but like I said this is the most me I have ever felt and I only feel like I'm transforming all the time more into this like Power-Ranger-MegaZord version of Christopher. I'm trying to wrap this up - I really don't know how to describe this experience, Tara has helped me to get to a point where I finally feel like I'm "somewhere" if that makes sense. Where progress from this point makes me feel like I am driving in the correct direction now and that I can not only MAKE it to my destination, but EXCEED it. Good luck.
