I hired MRR Productions to do my wedding in LA and I couldn't be more happy for them to come out and do my wedding! They are based out of Chicago but they travel all over the US. I was a little hesitant to book a DJ that is so far out and it would have been more cheaper to hire someone nearby but after getting on the phone with DJ Raheel, I was sure he was the one that I wanted! He took the time on the first call and went over everything with me and did not push me to sign on at the first call. He took his time and spent about an hour just to answer my questions and all the concerns and we went through pricing as well! Once we signed on, he definitely went above and beyond and was super professional and was very transparent with everything that we wanted and pricing, and that I appreciated very much. He performed so well, his Emcee'ing skills were amazing and really made me and my husband feel like stars when we walked in. The music was awesome, he incorporated our taste of music perfectly and then also made sure the dancefloor was packed! We had a 4 hour dancefloor and he made sure that people were having fun!
Overall definitely a 5 star DJ, there are a lot of things that I can say about him, but the most important thing is that, he was definitely the right choice and the best choice to have at our wedding! He is a must hire for sure!

My sister said, “I’ll ask a member of my staff to DJ my niece’s party.” My reply, “Uh-no!” and “I’ve got the perfect DJ in mind!” While it was my daughter’s golden 12th birthday celebration, I wanted to create a memorable experience for everyone. I had in mind Mikal Clay, a fire DJ, whom I knew could accomplish the goal of creating the celebratory atmosphere that I wanted.
Mikal is incredibly talented and has a natural gift for connecting with people through music and conversation. At my daughter’s party, he took us down memory lane with R&B hits (some of my personal favorites) and brought us forward to Hip-Hop greats that all the kids loved! What’s more, Mikal (aka, “the Prince of House Music”) rounded out the celebration with the best in Disco and House Music.
Did I say it was my daughter’s party?! Well…it ended up being a wonderful dance party and celebration for ALL!

My husband and I couldn't have hired a better DJ/MC for our wedding day! Duerell is truly unmatched! He is extremely attentive, organized, professional, and passionate. He is well versed in ALL genres of music! The first time we met with Duerell we knew we didnt need to look any further! His office space downtown is amazing and he truly caters to his clients. He has an online database that allows you to put in all the information for your wedding from how to pronounce people's names who are in the wedding party to choosing your must play songs, "play if you can" songs, don't play songs, etc. The database is extremely helpful and allows you to organize your wedding day. It also allows Duerell to know what genres you want played and dont want played at your wedding. Duerell also knows how to get everyone on the dance floor. He had EVERYONE dancing at our reception. He can cater to any audience and can hype any crowd. He wants to create you dream day and make your vision come to life and he is successful doing it! My husband and I have vowed to use Duerell for all our music needs! We will also be hiring him in 10 years for our vow renewal. He is the best, so there is no need to look further.

My secret to keeping the party dancing is to not be afraid to ask for feedback, watch the crowd, and ask the most non-engaged person what they like to here, and play it. Also people love to be uplifted, in that make everyone feel like they are a celebrity.
I would describe my style as non predictable and spiritual (not religious). Meaning, I love to control the spirit or the mood of each event; with the end result being amazing! I enjoy playing outside of the stereotypical box and exploring new music daily. It's a blessings to sever all people, all races, and all ages with the joy music brings. That in itself gives me life and a sense of purpose.
