I worked as an international multimedia and investigative reporter for nearly a decade. My photos from Venezuela, Iraq, Afghanistan, and all over the world, have been published by everyone from the New Yorker to Reuters. I now live a calmer life in San Francisco with my wife and daughter. I'm a personable, energetic, yet discreet documentary-style photographer, preferring fleeting moments which convey emotion over awkward smiles and poses.

I am a professional videographer and photographer in the Bay Area. As a videographer and editor, I have produced videos for businesses, products, events and the art world. My work reflects a skilled eye for composition, pacing and emotional impact. As a photographer, I have captured events, real estate, portraits and products. I have had a passion for recording audio, making videos and taking photographs since I was in my early teens that led me to study film and aesthetics at Sonoma State University. I learned a great deal there from excellent teachers about how to observe and develop perception skills using both natural and flash lighting techniques to create emotionally moving results with my camera.
