How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

My first step is to establish clear, achievable, long and short-term goals. I focus on both body/ health goals and behavioral goals. Second, I design workouts that are fun, functional and full of variety so my clients do not get bored but also train in movements that translate into daily life. Most importantly, I am constantly educating, communicating, and supporting my clients so that they stay on track and CONSISTENT with their training and nutrition ( if relevant).

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

The first key is to realize that transformation takes time and progress may not be linear. It is normal to quickly make strength gains or lose some pounds when you start training. However, progress on those markers may slow, at times, and it’s then important to be able to recognize and appreciate the other benefits of training (more energy, reduced stress etc) while working with your trainer to get past the plateau. It’s important to STAY MOTIVATED through the process. I help by pointing out less than obvious gains, constantly updating the exercise plan and being available for support.

What do you love most about your job?

I love being a part of helping people develop healthier, stronger bodies which improve many aspects of their lives beyond the physical. It’s extremely rewarding work.

What inspired you to start your own business?

After being a trainer in gyms/clubs for 10 years I jfelt it was time to strike out on my own. I have more flexibility as a business owner both in my own life and to serve clients in the way I feel is most effective and rewarding.

Why should our clients choose you?

I will establish a positive, effective partnership with you as a base to achieving your goals. I am very experienced in terms of years as a trainer but also variety of clients and environments to which I have been exposed. I can work effectively with beginners very new to exercise, individuals getting back to exercise after injury or who are training around a current injury, and also an experienced exerciser looking to take their fitness to the next level. I have the background, training, tools, and passion to help you become a more healthy and strong version of yourself.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Currently, I am not doing physical training online. If a client wants programming only we will do weekly online sessions to update the program and discuss progress/ issues.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

I am an in-home trainer and make adaptions based on my clients safety concerns. I stay 6 feet or more away during the session, sanitize my equipment, and wear a mask if desired by client. Many of my clients train outdoors ( weather permitting) and some train inside their garage or basement with me staying 6 feet away. I adapt to the client’s circumstances/ needs.
