I’m a mom, a wife, and a business owner. I enjoy date nights with tacos and margaritas, family dinners with our 6 kids, weekends at the lake, and of course, working out! I believe in simple nutrition. No fat burners. No detoxes. No diet gimmicks. I lift weights 5 days a week. I lift as heavy as I can while keeping good form, and I keep cardio to a minimum. I know that you can be healthy, fit, and at your best just by watching your nutrition and incorporating exercise.

I absolutely love living at COTP!! The residents and employees are soooo nice - it feels like home! The amenities are absolutely amazing, the rooftop is incredible and everyone seems to 'know your name' when eating at Kingside Diner. Thank you, Penny Wagner, for introducing me to such a wonderful place!

Absolutely LOVE my 5a.m class! Moe goes above and beyond to mix it up and always keeps us guessing. You will NEVER be bored. And sometime you will even say it’s FUN!!!The best part about this class is that there is something for everyone and we all support each other. The Great group of people is what motivates me to drive on 3 highways Just to take this class!

I recently participated in complete fitness results twenty pounds in 6 weeks challenge. At my final weigh in I was twenty-two pounds less than where I was day one. I was able to learn a good number of valuable lessons that I can take with me for the rest of my life. The trainers I worked with were knowledgeable and worked with me to be able to do a hinge motion (exercise term). I enjoyed the workouts that they had planned out, individual routines for each day. I meet some very nice and supportive people who I hope to retain as a support system down the road.

I purchased a Groupon to check this gym out before considering purchasing a personal training package. I am, completely, satisfied with my overall experience at Titanium Fitness in Clayton. I have spent a lot of time and money, near and far, in St. Louis trying to find a gym that was "just right." This facility is CLEAN with every type of workout equipment available! It is never over crowded and has a small community feeling. The pricing is on the lower end for personal training packages I've seen around town, as well! I am very excited to continue my journey of better health and fitness! Everyone I have met from the Titanium Fitness team is well-versed and passionate about their job!

This is the sweetest, most adorable yoga studio. The small class size allows for a lot of personal attention, like a semi-private session, with good adjustments and modifications. Missy is a great teacher and leads a well-designed and thoughtful class. Plus she offers free yummy snacks afterward. This little studio is a great addition to the neighborhood!

Far and away my favorite gym anywhere. The staff is phenomenal, total professionals. And the people who attend the sessions are serious about fitness. You'll be in great company at Core 3. I don't live in St Louis, but being able to work out at this facility was the final selling point for a recent visit. If you haven't been, try it out.......you will not be disappointed!
Should I work out every day of the week?
It depends on your end goal. If you’re training for a marathon, you might work out nearly every day of the week. If you’re a low-level beginner, a minimum of three times a week is enough to make a noticeable impact. No matter what you’re working out for, everyone needs rest and recovery days. Without them, your muscles won’t be able to recuperate and grow strong, so remember to factor in some down-time, too!
Where can I have my personal training sessions?
Pretty much anywhere! The great thing about personal training is that it’s flexible - as long as you have the necessary equipment, you and your instructor can decide to have your sessions from the gym, your home, the park, or even your office if you want to!
Does my fitness instructor need to know anything about me?
Yes! First of all, they will chat with you about your goals, and discuss the best way to achieve them. They should also ask you to fill in a consent form to check that you don’t have any pre-existing health conditions that could impact your exercise. They’ll also carry out a health assessment to get a better idea of your current fitness level, tailoring your workout plan around that.
What does a standard personal training session involve?
It's tricky to say, as personal training sessions vary significantly depending on what you want to achieve and the type of workout. Generally, one personal training session tends to last forty-five minutes to one hour. It will start with a gentle warm-up, followed by the nitty-gritty of the actual workout, with stretches to end the session. Remember, warming up and stretching is essential for injury prevention - it’s just as important as the main part of the workout!
What qualifications should a personal trainer have?
A personal trainer needs to be clued up on all aspects of fitness, from the most effective exercise techniques to nutrition and human anatomy- that’s a lot of responsibility! You need to make sure your professional is suitably qualified for the job. After all, you shouldn’t cut corners when it comes to investing in your health. Make sure your trainer has the minimum qualifications required to practice. In the UK, this is the Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification.
Can I get a Personal Trainer online?
Absolutely! Online personal training has become increasingly popular as more people are looking to maintain their fitness during lockdowns and gyms closing. As long as you and your personal trainer have a strong internet connection and a device to stream on like a laptop, tablet or smartphone, there's no reason why your session can't be delivered remotely.
