After deeply struggling with a chronic illness due to burnout from a melting pot of people pleasing and endlessly trying to earn my worthiness and value in the world, I decided to prioritize myself and reevaluate what was most important to me.
I discovered coaching when I was sick and tired of feeling so sick, tired and defeated. This led to me learning how to set loving boundaries and be willing to feel the discomfort of disappointing others over disappointing myself.
What felt like my rock bottom became an entry point for deep and meaningful change. I didn't want to keep feeling so awful. I realized no one would swoop in to save me. I needed to choose differently how I approached life if I was going to heal and feel happy again. Coaching helped me do exactly this.
I learned to become my top priority. I was able to create deep healing on so many levels with coaching by taking small, continuous and simple steps forward. I truly rerouted my life and just knew I wanted to support people in this more holistic way. So I opened my own coaching practice after getting my first coaching certification and I've been inspired ever since to help people create their own breakthroughs in their lives.
Life isn’t linear. There are definitely continued ups and downs and curveballs. What I learned to do myself and teach my clients is how to navigate the tough stuff with more ease, self compassion, self love, patience all while embracing our humanity.
