Our highly skilled staff is happy to assist you with your pet care needs. Lori Powell is the co-founder and operator of Animal Magnetism Pet Professionals. She moved to California from North Carolina and received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the California State University at Dominquez Hills. She has 21 years of experience working closely with dogs and their owners as a professional dog walker, and dog sitter. She is a member of Pet Sitters International and is Certified in Pet Frist Aid and CPR. She’s a Karen Pryor Puppy Start Right Instructor, Animal Behavioral College Dog Obedience Trainer and is committed to positive dog training and owner education. She is currently enrolled in Animal Behavior College and expected to graduate in the summer of 2020. She is also enrolled at Karen Pryor Academy for Dog Training Professionals, studying under Nan Arthur and expected to graduate in December of 2020. Services: Individual Dog Walks: Private, one-on-one local neighborhood walks with one of our experienced dog walkers. Prior to the walk, the walker will make sure the leash or harness are secure. Once everything is secure on the dog, the walker will continue on the scheduled walk time: 30, 45, or 60 minute. Pack Dog Walking: Take back your lunch! One of our professional and experienced dog walkers comes to your home and gives your dog a 60 minute pack walk. We ensure that your dog gets plenty of love, healthy exercise, socialization and of course, has fresh water. Available 7 days a week. My favorite way of explaining pack walks is that we are the school teachers who drive a school bus to pick up our students. The pups have their favorite spots to sit in the bus and their favorite friends to sit with and walk beside on the walks. We are exploring and learning while on our walks. This service is fantastic for socialization with the outside environment and with other pups. Pet Sitting: Some pets prefer to stay in the comfort of their own home with their routine. One of our professional and experienced pet sitters will visit your home to care for your dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, or bird. We make sure they have all of their needs met including love, fresh food and water. This also gives you the added benefit of checking on your home while you're away. We also pick up yours newspaper, water your plants, bring in your mail, as well as turn lights on or off, at no additional charge. Beach Excursion: Once a month we offer a beach day excursion. Your pup will enjoy the surf and sand by swimming, digging, running, fetching, etc. Best of all we provide pick up and drop off in addition to returning your pups bathed and exhausted!
