In 2012 we changed our company name to Access DJ’s in order to provide our bride and grooms to accomplish all of their planning online 24/7. We gave them full ACCESS to all of their planning and music 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our online tools start with a our basic 37 step timeline and end with a one on one meeting to add the details that are distinctive you, your fiancé and your family’s traditions. WEDDINGS - Many people forget the amount of details that are involved in the planning, preparation, and execution of four to six-hour wedding, gala or corporate event. On the day of your wedding or event, Access DJ’s will coordinate your videographers, photographers, the timing with the staff at your venue, and locating all of the friends and family that are an essential part of the ceremony and reception. Whether it is Houston Rodeo and Cook Off Season, Crawfish (Crayfish) Festivals, Fourth of July, Summer Bar-B-Que's, Mardi Gras, Oktoberfest or Halloween, the International Festival, a birthday, an anniversary, luncheon, and Holiday, Christmas Party's and New Year's Eve (whew!), we have the right music for you. We provide the perfect music and setting for all types of corporate and holiday events. We are dressed to impress, whether it's a Tuxedo, Business Suit or in a costume (i.e Sock Hop, or Halloween). We will assist you in directing your Associates and guest throughout the evening and even assist with raffles. Our Master fo Ceremonies are ready to take your event to the next level. Video Jockey - Why Just Listen When You Can Watch?! - If your next event needs audio and video needs, Access DJs can provide the music and even run your audio and video need too, such as Promos, Awards Ceremonies and Photo Montages. Access DJ's performs at many corporate galas, grand openings, awards ceremonies, and fundraisers. When needed, we can also provide your event with a professional Video Jockey to play the top Video's from the 1950's Sock Hops, the 80's Video Invasion, to the current Top 40 Videos from the music playing on the radio. Do you have a fundraiser theme, such as James Bond, Vegas, Casa Blanca, 80's Rock or Great Gatsby? We can make the event come alive by playing the TV commercials, early TV shows, and awesome movie clips to bring your theme to life. What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?

Experience in reading your crowd. I never use a playlist, I use what my clients provide because 9 of 10 times they know exactly what their families love to celebrate too. Also, changing the beat by changing genres to keep people on their toes. I play a mixture of the client's selected music and add to it popular songs that I know will form an incredible set. As long as it isn't part of their DO NOT PLAY selection, I can use my expertise build the dance floor up.

How would you describe your ‘style’?

My "style" is up to my client. Some people want a charismatic yet classy dj/ coordinator in a Tux. Other clients might want a more "friend of the family" style dj/mc at their country wedding. Either way, I am at an event to be who YOU need me to be. I just have to know how to use my skills with music and my experience in coordinating private events to make sure it's what YOU envisioned and that you celebrate the time.

What do you love most about your job?

Making people happy. I am there to serve my clients and I am honored to be allowed to be a part of their special day. It doesn't matter if its a wedding, a birthday, holiday party or welcome home party, to my clients it's special and I need to take that seriously, not just as a job. I have seen so many special moments since 2002 and I am proud to have been a part of them.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Music has always been my escape. As a programmer/analyst for 10 years, I finally decided to go back to my music in 2002. But instead of clubs or bars, I went to the Private Event Sector. It took years to learn how to be a good DJ and Master of Ceremonies. But soon I realized that if I listened closely, I could be more than just the "dj". I could make the event unforgettable and special by making their visions come true. I could be an event coordinator, dj, and master of ceremonies and really let the client be a host and celebrate. Seeing people happy and celebrating was the perfect counterpart to my other analytical programming side. After 4 layoffs I finally jumped in feet first and decided to create a dj company that would be there from start to finish for its clients. Always giving my 110% to ensure they had the time of their life. I haven't regretted the choice since.
