He was fantastic! He did entertainment during the reception, he was the DJ(with good variety of music), plus he took his own photos the whole time, and communicated with me (the photographer) the entire time letting me know which events were coming next and what not.. he was great.

Cannot say enough good things! Chad made planning our wedding reception easy and fun. He really put us at ease, was very organized and knew what to do to put together a great dance. He also MC’d our dinner and was very entertaining, the shoe game was a definite crowd pleaser! The dance was fun, interactive, and high energy, he knew just when to get the crowd going to get people back on the dance floor. I was a guest at a wedding with Zims doing DJ...at first I thought he was part of the family since he was MC'ing so nicely. I have since booked Zims for 2 events. One was a women's retreat/workshop. He did a great job getting everyone involved. Last weekend Zims was hired for my parents 50th anniversary party. I had 6 siblings that were questioning my judgement to hire someone from out of town...no one - NO ONE was disappointed. SO many guests commented how fun it was to see everyone so involved in the dance and how he made an effort to get to know the family and have tidbits to offer during the celebration. He was very accommodating to my parents wishes on music, and even researched some of their requests make sure he had the right stuff. Hands down, the best in the business. All of our guests have been to many weddings, even very expensive weddings with very expensive DJ's, but everyone said Zim's was by far the best DJ they have ever seen. From the beginning he took us out to get to know us better, which was a huge statement to us that he showed his commitment and desire to make this the best dance he could for us. After the first dance, (while we walked around and thanked our guests) he started out with some kids songs that he had all kinds of blow up guitars and other things for them to use and play with; every parent was happy that he was the one who was out there on the dance floor with them and letting them have a good time. He was able to get and keep everyone on the dance floor for the whole night. A big reason everyone stayed on the dance floor was him coming out, interacting, and dancing with us, while being totally professional. If want want a good DJ who is not doing this for just money, but to make sure you and your guests have the best night, Zim's is deifinetly the best choice for you. Chad was amazing! We met up with him at Perkins months before the wedding to get to know each other and discuss plans... We were there for nearly 2 hours. He is so genuine and easy to get along with... It's like working with a friend. :) He did our wedding ceremony and reception music, and everything went off without a hitch. Chad did a wonderful job for our Daughter and Son in Laws reception at the Soo Pass Ranch. He got everyone out there dancing and was very funny and entertaining. My father in law said Chad was a very good D.J he talked to the crowd and kept everyone involved he said he had been to other weddings where the D. J never said a word. Chad did an amazing job!! He had everyone out on the dance floor and everyone had a wonderful time. He played a wide variety of music and played requested music as well! The timing of the music was perfect and really did cover all ages and variety types. He had fun games and ways to get everyone envoled!!
