I reside in the DC Metro area, and the session took place at the University of Chicago, so it took weeks to solidify the logistics. Zaid met with my engagement team virtually, over the phone, and in person. He made every effort to ensure the photo shoot would surpass my expectations. In addition, he gave a thorough presentation on which sites on the campus would be ideal for the special moment.

On the day of the photo shoot, the original site location at UofC was suddenly under construction. I was calm because Zaid had already surveyed the area. I arrived on-site with my now fiancée, and she was amazed at the set-up.

I had such a great experience working with Zaid. I told Zaid that I been wanting to do a fitness-inspired gym shoot, and he said, “Let’s do it! ” I was nervous, but his calm demeanor and encouragement put me at ease. He was super open to letting me try out some ideas while also giving guidance on certain poses and coming up with creative angles and shots. Zaid was very patient and never rushed me in any way.
