Wow this local place is fantastic!!! Live music in the evening, although we were here during the day, but will have to come check out the band scene. Food was fresh and super good. Great, diverse menu - the Sonoma Chicken is always a homerun. The owner almost always comes by to thank diners. Remodeling earlier in the year moved the stage to far end and realigned tables toward center of restaurant. Very nice changes! Nice place. I go here as a Browns backers watch location. Staff is very friendly. Beverage prices are reasonable. Food quality is average bar food, nothing fancy.

Great place for happy hours, a nice meal, or live entertainment. Very few places can wear all the hats- sports bar, fancy restaurant, night club, neighborhood joint- but Z Grill pulls it off.

My 1st time it wasent that great. Bathroom didn't have any lockes. Need remodel and updates. I did give this bar 2nd chance and I am glad that I did. Owner remodel this place and is look very nice. Bartender ask me what would I like to drink and she tern around and start talk to her coworker. She completly forgot about me. Excellent food & phenomenal staff! I really couldn't believe how great the food was. Zara is an artist with the dishes she's added! Then I was blown away by the dessert, which I didn't think was possible after the amazing meal! YUM!!! OD invents drinks that are simply awesome- more of an amazing Mixologist. And he takes pride in his work. That's something u don't see everday! Abby was fabulous! They were so fun, even when swamped, Oh, and the bands were off the hook- they even had a horn section! Then during their shows, the band members, singers and horns, came and continued the show while walking around the crowd. The whole experience at Z Grill & Tap was awesome! Great meal. We stopped by for the first time since they remodeled. The place is set up like it should have been when the previous owner first remodeled it Stage at the opposite wall from the bar. Everything is clean and looks great. The food was excellent. Our party of 4 all had different fish meals. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. I LOVE Z Grill ! I meet my friends each wens. For live jazz - it's the 1 night of the week we look forward to so much! It is not overly loud. Just perfect. The musicians are the best. Ranges from a big band to a small quartet that plays fabulous range of music from lounge music to Bill Withers. The atmosphere is relaxing, service great, delish wings & everything else on menu. Wait staff attentive & owner very welcoming! We also love to see wonderful singer Rhonda Medina & her talented band, Freddie, Pecos River Band & all the others . My wife and I came to see Party City Band which is one of the best in Dallas. We had low expectations especially because this is a sports bar. We couldn't have been more wrong.
