What makes a great website?
A good website should be intuitively easy to navigate and fluidly responsive; a great website creates an unforgettable experience with an environment that engenders trust.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
* When do you need to launch?
* Do you know more or less what you want to create and what sections you want in your site?
* Who is your primary and secondary target audience?
* Who are your competitors and what are the URLs to their websites?
* What site designs do you like, and why? (They dont need to be industry related)
* What don't you like about your current website?
* How close are you to finalizing your source material - text, photos, videos, product catalogue etc?
* What budget are you working with?
Describe your creative process.
This depends on the client. Some clients have a template in mind that they want to work from, others give me links to sites that have inspired them and give me total freedom (which always inspires the best work). Sometimes I create photoshop mockups for clients who prefer to work with their own in-house developer to produce the website. Although it has been a long time since I had a client who wanted to break away from the norm, I still love to break the rules a little and break free from the boxy template designs that have become so popular lately with layouts that have more of a hand-made feel. I love to create sites that leave an unforgettable visual impact.

Mainly, the answers to the questions I asked above.
What do you love most about your job?
The three things I love most are the freedom to work late at night instead of early in the morning, the ability to travel anywhere in the world with my laptop, and helping my clients fully fledge their dreams with an online presence that fits them PERFECTLY.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I used to work for ad agencies and wanted the freedom to choose my own clients who I felt were more aligned with.
Why should our clients choose you?
While I am known for hand-holding through the whole process with clients who are unsure of the process, I love giving my clients the ability to be truly independent - from having full control over owning their own hosting without being tied to anyone, to being able to update their content themselves from anywhere in the world. I don't look for ways to tie my clients into contracts, but find that they keep coming back for other projects anyway.
